SP250 Details – 102801

Adrian won the 1960 Circuit of Ireland International Rally. The following year was offered the use of a SP250 for the rally by the local Damiler dealership. He was leading at one point until the axle broke and had to retire. Adrian competed in 3 Pirelli Classic Marathons in the car in 1988,89 & 90 winning an Alpine Cup in the first 2 and a Gold Cup in the 3rd, with fairly good overall places in all 3. In 1990 Adrian and Johnny entered the 1st Monte Carlo Challenge and were 1st overall. Present engine (96698) ex chassis 103919.
